WARWICKSHIRE information commissioner's office

CONTACT THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE

We are aware that a lot of people are still waiting for responses to their Freedom of Information requests, submitted to the Warwickshire Police. The FOI Act states that organisations have 20 working days to respond to FOI’s, many people have been waiting since August 2023 for a reply from the Warwickshire police.
The police cannot simply ignore FOI requests because the information requested is not something they want made public. The Warwickshire police and the Warwickshire Police & Crime Commissioner are opaque not transparent as they should be. There is only one reason they would continue to be cloudy and that is to hide the true corruption within the force.
WHAT ACTION CAN YOU TAKE?
Contact the Information Commissioner’s Office to complain about how your request is being dealt with (or lack of action being taken). Head over to their Facebook page for more information.
Or visit their website FOI and EIR complaints | ICO to find out how to complain about an FOI request.
If you haven’t already submitted an FOI then please check out our FOI page.
Although they are not being answered within the 20 days, the more people that send FOI’s the better. This will show the police that we will not be deterred by their silence and lack of action and that we will continue to demand answers.
