Template email for MP’s re: Community Protection Notice

Dear

I am writing to you with the utmost concern regarding the recent withdrawal of the Community Protection Notice served to the Warwickshire Hunt.

The reason for this notice being served was to keep residents, such as myself, safe from the reckless behaviour of this hunt. The withdrawal of this notice now leaves people like me vulnerable and in harm’s way. What also alarms me is the agreement that Warwickshire police will now be reporting every complaint made about the Warwickshire Hunt back to them. I no longer feel like I can approach the police with any matters regarding this and it emphasises residents’ vulnerability.

Another matter which is troubling me is that the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe has openly admitted he is a member of the Countryside Alliance. To have a member of an organisation which campaigns for pro hunting, involved with exact same police force investigating a hunt which openly illegally kills foxes is ludicrous.

I do hope that you will take this matter seriously and I trust that you will act with your constituents’ best interests at the forefront. I look forward to your response and reassurance as to how you plan to address this situation.

Yours Faithfully
